Underneath Vatnajokull
At the end of Feb, I had my first experience of Iceland and was completely blown away by the stunning beauty and diversity - an amazing country and a place I'll definitely be going back to! One of the many photographic highlights was a visit to an ice cave underneath the Vatnajokull glacier; our original tour was cancelled last minute due to pretty wild snow storms but we were lucky enough to jump on the more accessible tour to the blue cave. The ice cave was a really unique experience and whilst initially difficult to find shots without a throng of people in, it did get quieter allowing shots towards the cave entrance showing the stunning colour and detail of the ice walls. The entrance perfectly framed two guys, one a tour guide from Iceguide.is who were great - very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend the trip if you are on the south coast of Iceland (http://www.iceguide.is).
