Dorset - Lulworth & Durdle Door
All the Way to Durdle Door
On this morning I ventured to Durdle Door with the intent of shooting both the archway and Man O' War Bay but the light was pretty bad with a fairly flat blanket of cloud, so I thought I'd share a more successful trip. On that occasion I was far luckier with fiery red and orange clouds marauding across the sky; a perfect backdrop to the Door and winding coastal path. Even better, I was the only one there..........or at least I thought I was until shooting on the beach later that morning I turned to find a guy stood no more than 50 yards behind me who'd apparently appeared from thin air. It turns out he'd slept in the small caves in the cliff footings - a braver man than me as I would not fancy that one bit especially as there is another fresh rock fall there now.
