The Last Dance
I have tried shooting the tree on the left numerous times; always on its own and from the other side knowing it had some potential but could never quite get it to work. On my last visit, after failing to make the lone tree work yet again, I decided to change tack and circle round the tree. Suddenly out jumped a scene where that tree became a male in a handholding dance across the wood with the tall elegant lady on the right as his partner (well that’s what I see here anyway :)). A great reminder for me that it is always best to take your time, wander and explore before getting too wrapped up in one particular composition…especially in woodlands.
