It's taken many months of work and many years of exploring, but I'm now happy to announce that I have a Yorkshire Dales guide available as an app on both Android and iOS. The guide currently includes 80 locations in and around the Dales, but the beauty of it being an app means that it can be updated... and I already have a number of spots that I plan to add to it in the near future.
The app itself is free to download and have a look around and you can then purchase guides to various locations around the world - each one including example images, information about the location and timings regarding when to visit and helpful local tips. You also have the option to add locations to your itinerary within the app and plan your trips in advance. My Yorkshire Dales guide includes a bit of everything, from the well known waterfalls and famous towns to the obscure hills and unnamed valleys... there's something for everyone, in all weathers too.
SNAPP Guides shows the best way to find and navigate to new places to photograph – off-the-beaten-track as well as iconic locations – via an easy to use app. My Northumberland guide is now available for SNAPP Guides and features thirty-five of my favourite locations in and around my home county. These include spots on Hadrian’s Wall and along the Northumbrian coast. The SNAPP Guides app is available free for both iOS devices, including iPod, iPad and iPhone, through the Apple Apps Store and Android smartphones and tablets through Google Play. The Northumberland module is priced at £7.99*. *End price may vary slightly according to device, platform and country of purchase.
